The hero in the release of new gents White Label watches. Just like the ocean and source of the design inspiration; the lightweight appearance disguises hidden strength. Skagen Denmark received what many consider to be the highest accolade in the world of design; the reddot design award.

Over 12,000 submissions and participation by more than 60 countries make the reddot design awards to be the biggest and most highly recognised design competition in the world.

There are 3 award categories

• reddot award: product design
• reddot award: communication design
• reddot award: design concept

Award winning products, designs and concepts are then displayed to an international public in the reddot design museum. The museum was established in 2005 and is located in Singapore.

For Henrik and Charlotte Jorst this award means more than simply recognition for excellence in design, it’s international affirmation that Skagen Denmark is a brand that delivers on its promise of ‘affordable style’.
